My career as a Nurse and Educator has been shaped by the belief that exceptional nursing care is the cornerstone of healing, while education is the foundation of understanding and lasting health. With over 15 years of nursing experience and 18 years as an educator, including currently an FVCC Nurse Clinical Educator, my journey spans Home Care, Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation, and floor nursing with Medical, Surgical, and Oncology patients, ultimately specializing in Wound and Ostomy Care.
What I find most rewarding is guiding patients and families through their healthcare journeys. These interactions have revealed a critical gap in the healthcare system: the transition from quality inpatient care to the education and resources necessary for patients to thrive at home. I’ve made it my mission to bridge this gap through seamless care coordination, skilled nursing services, and empowering patients and families with the knowledge to manage recovery confidently.
This commitment inspired the creation of Peak Home Care, where we bring expert nursing care directly into the comfort of patients' homes. Our goal is to ensure optimal health outcomes by providing advanced nursing services, comprehensive care coordination, and the tools families need to navigate the healing process successfully.
